Hi Glenda and Seekthem,
Glenda none of yours seem to be related at the moment. But i don,t know if there are any siblings to James & Charles so i Will i have to keep digging.  Seekthem I have the Newton Green Burial Ground book  with 5  Hendries in, can check the book if you have any problems. Thank you both for your replys.

Hi,
Great, saves me typing it all out again.
The three I have photos of are:

Alexander Hendrie and Sarah Paterson and children

James Hendrie and Annie Campbell

George Hendrie in memory of his mother  Isabella McCreath Hall (my one)

I helped a colleague at work last year (her name is Hendrie thro marriage)
and they had been invited to France year before last for a memorial service
for a Hendrie who had died in France.  The trail did take us back to Ayr, I'm sure Mair popped up somewhere,
I will try and check for you.

Hi seekthem,
None of the Hendrie,s you mentioned are mine. But thanks for looking, It Would be great if some of these Hendries from Ayr were related along the line somewhere. Just have to keep trying.

Would it be possible to get a copy of this photograph as I believe he is my great (x2) uncle.

I would also be interested in any further information regarding the Hendrie & Mair Link mentioned as both names refer to direct ancestors (great [x4] grandparents)

with computers.
Cheers

Hi RJ-Paton - I see that your are researching the Barr Family.  I am also interested in this line.  My Wife Janet ( nee Kerr ) has a Janet Barr born about 1818-1820 in Kilmarnock, this Janet Barr is my wife`s Great Grandmother, she married James Clachan on 23 July 1852 in Kilmarnock.  I do not have any further information on Janet Barr prior to her marriage and would like to find her parents and possible siblings.  I have a little more information on the Clachan side and a multitude on the Kersland & Auchengree Ker/Kerrs as James and Janet`s daughter Janet Clachan born 24 January, 1859 in Dreghorn married William Kerr of Beith.  If you have an interest in this Janet Barr would you have any further information.  I have very recently had contact with katrina42 of this site who is research an Isabel Hendrie born 1709 in Kilmarnock, she married Hugh Muir in 24 December 1730 in Kilmarnock, she died in 1747 , there were 7 children to the marriage.  Katrina42 is also researching the Kilmarnock Barr line.
