How do you solve a problem like Maria?

I've solved it - she married and had 8 children in Victoria before moving to Queensland. The Victorian online indexes are expensive and not user friendly, so I checked the microfishe: there they all were just waiting to be found!

I have only just begun my family history so I am a rank amateur at all this.  However I was most interested in your posts re Maria Walters et al.  Maria Sarah Walters was my great grandmother.  I found a little info on Family People website and have shared the bit I have there also.

I realise you have probably moved on from the Walters/Griffiths/Wickham family by now but if you are interested I can add a little flesh to those dry bones through personal stories of Maria and James and at least one of their children, my grandmother, also Maria Sarah.
