Hi
I am looking for any information on Longfield AFC in the early 1900's I have a team photo from the 1906-1907 season and another with my granddad posed with a trophy.

The only Longfield I know of is in Prestwich.
You could try contacting
http://www.prestwichheritage.com/
to see if they know.

Have you tried Manchester Evening News? Manchester Central Library?
My faimly in that area always had an anouncement in there if tehere was to be one.

1954 Kelly's Directory has Longfiels Road, Baguley
91b Parklands [I think it means it starts there].
No thoroughfare.
There is Tom Gleases ar59, Briarfield Rd, W20. There are about ten others.
I'd try the evening News if you can get.
