on 1871 there is joseph cook b1800 sarah b 1801 and james 1861.
next door is george cook 1800 and daughter elizabeth 1834.
looking on 61 now and will post in a bit.

Gets a bit confusing some times.
I'm hoping James(1861) was born before the census was taking

No one in my family has gone back this far

Sorry to be a pest but Joseph Cook would be 61 and Sarah would be 60 and having childred. Just doesn't seem right. Unless James was a grandson.

he is the grandson on census.
his grandparents were joseph cook and sarah arnold married 19/4/1824 at snaith.
think i am on to which of their children was james parent but just checking through at moment.

they are there in cowick on 1841,joseph is an innkeeper children the same but ann missing ,maybe she visiting relatives .
children of aquilla cook all seem to be on igi,cant find james cook b1825 marrying or on census.
maybe james was son of louisa or ann.
