Now  tell  me is  it still  coolish  down  Brissie way  in  October?

Just  might  have to see what  I  can  do,  no one seemed  interested in a  mini  meet in Townsville.

So  I  might  have to venture down  to the big smoke, twice in  one  year oh  my  giddy stars ;D

The "G"?  Cricket, Karenlee, cricket!  Wonderful cricket ground with a great historical museum.  Cricket - the game they play in heaven!

I am  coming down  the  first week  of July  so  I  reckon  that October will be  a tad warmer,  After  living  up  this  way  for many  years  anything  under 20  is  cold  to  me  8) so  I will  probably  feel  like  Antarctica to me

best wishes Jenn

Hi Jenn

If you have a few spare hours away from the birds  :)  in July, let us know - we can always have a mini mini meet & say hello over a vino! What part of town are you inhabiting - we seem to have rootschatters from the four corners of Brisbane  ;D

Hello  there

Trisha and Tephra,  that would be  wonderfull  however we  have only four days free leading  up to the Parrot Convention  and we are travelling down  with  our friends and so far they have organized  "stuff"  for at least two days  a trip to  the Ipswich Railway Museum..don't know if that grabs me  but apparently  it  is good?  I really  want to go down to Bryon  Bay on one of  our days,  it is a standing  joke  either  my  husband  if  he  is driving or  Merv our  mate allways  miss the turnoff  when  we are heading further south on our yearly adventure. So  I  said  this  year  I  am  driving  down  even  if I  got to go by myself!!!

So  I  think  it  will be too damn difficult  which is a real  shame  cause it would be so lovely  to  put a face to a name  so will  have to try  for  the end of the year,  but I  do  know we are back down  to Brissie  on  our  own  early  next year about  march  so  would  love  to do  it then  if  I  miss October.

Thanks  ladies  for  your  very  kind  offer,  I  hope  you are getting lots of  that  lovely  rain  falling  down  there at  the moment

kind regards Jenn

Oh no Jenn, don't go to Byron by yourself....................... TAKE ME WITH YOU. ;D ;D ;D

I love it there and it's definately the kind of place where you need someone with you  --------  even if it's to whisper and giggle " Blimey did you see THAT!!!"   Byron is that kind of place.  There's a fantastic cake shop, and some wonderful galleries with amazing local artwork.
