Oi Sunshine............speak for yourself........plump maybe, but middle aged -- not a chance baby. :P

Southbank from Indro is easy.... there's a bus or a train into the city and a walk over a bridge and you're there.  There are several websites that will provide information about access to the city and southbank from lots of places.  Of course, I could always come get you and we can go together.

O h  it does  sound  nice  we will  be staying  first up  at Indooroopilly  have  I  spelt  that right ;D

So  is  that difficult  to  make  my  way  into  town/Southbank,  I will be the short plump middleaged old lady  freezing her butt off. :o

Jenn of the North

If you're at indooroopilly (with the world's worst shopping town) I'll pick you up on the way  8)  8) - somewhere - or there is ye olde fancy cake shop right there - speaking of cakes - and I can't remember the name - but they used to be in Edward Street - until the block got rebuilt

Trish

Edit: My FIL would think it a sin if I took you away from the Railway workshops - he used to work there - says it is the best museum in the universe - I haven't been there  :-\

Pity about the July meet up Jenn, but do give it a try for October.
