I think this might be cousin Alexander in 1851 with his parents:

Alexander, 20, seaman
Charles, 15, seaman

Alexander Noble (senior on the 1851) died in 1868, Broadsea, Fraserburgh. His parents are shown as Andrew Noble and Margaret Mason. This corresponds with the bpt on the IGI (extracted):

19 Nov 1806, Fraserburgh

There is a fair chance that these are Marjory's parents  but definitely close kin.

Thank you so much Gadget  ;D

I found Alexander and Margaret on Christina and George Wilson`s marriage certificate. I was then helped out by another family member who discovered that Alexander had remarried after Margaret's death.
I only have a daughter from this second marriage, this being Magdalene born in 1859 Fraserburgh.
I was given the marriage date of Alexander and Margaret, 22/10/1843.

Hello Carol,

It sounds like we are barking up the same tree!  Marjory Watt b 1844 in Fraserburgh is my great grandmother and yes she married John Grant in Rathven in 1869.  Have found no information on Alexander b 1849 and assume he died between 1851 and 1859.  Alexander (sr) married Magdalene Watt (his distant cousin) after Marjory's death and went on to have more children.  The Margaret you mention is Magdalene's daughter by George Reid born 1850 prior to her marriage to Alexander and the marriage date of October 22, 1843 is for Alexander Watt and Marjory (May) Noble.

So glad to finally have a connection to Christina.

Hi Carol
My great grandmother was also Marjory Watt Christian's sister. I always thought Christian had died and its good to know the family survived. I would be happy to share info with you.

My aunt told me that their parents names were Alexander Watt and Marjory Noble. The 'May' was an abbreviation which carried down through our family. What happened to Christian after she married George Wilson?
Hope to hear soon
