HEYDENREICH , Amelia Louisa West Ham/Essex
« on: Thursday 22 May 08 13:35 BST (UK) »
I have the mrg. details of Amelia Louisa Moor to Godfrey HEYDENREICH  Dec . 1918 and have been searching for the details of their deaths without any success so far.

Amelia Louisa (nee Dowling) was mrd. to Sidney Greenham and then to Ernest Moor in Jan 1917 who I assumed then died, and then she  mrd. Godfrey Heydenreich in 1918

In 1926 Godfrey Heydenreich and Amelia ran a boarding house "Avondale" in Laindon High Road, Essex,  1926 Kellys Almanac, and  they were still alive in the early 1930's.

Can anyone fill in the details  of Godfrey and Amelia HEYDENREICH's death details for my family history records please.

Looking forward with great interest to any info.

John

I've looked thru Full death indexes 1930 - 1935 inc, but no sign of Godfrey.
But if that IS her, and if he was of a similar age, then there could be a good few more years to look through!

Hi Lizbd,

Many thanks for reply and would like to say that I have ordered the dth cert for Amelia L. Heydenreich (my g.mthr) who died Q J.F.M 1930 and confirmed that it is 100% correct and  as to the death of Godfrey Hydenreich I have details from BMD that he died 1937 which has cleared one or two facts that I was aware of.

I have though another link that I am attempting to clear and that is of Amelia L. whose first husband Sidney Greenham bn. 1879 and were mrd  Jan 1907  and whose death I have been searching for without success as I have searched BMD 1906 until 1917 when Amelia mrd. second husband  Ernest Moor 1917.

I assumed that Sidney Geenham was alive c.1907 as Amelia L. had a dr. 1908 but only her mother was notified as being present at the bth with no mention of the fact  that the father was deceased.

I intend making this the subject of another "look Up" but wondered if you had any ideas where I can go from here?

I did wonder whether Sidney served in WW1 and did not survive and have looked for any records without any success as yet.

Once again many thanks for your help but as the clock is ticking away I am very curious about my early family history.

John

On Amelia's marriage cert to Moor, does she specify that she is a widow?

Thats sad, if she only married him in 1917.

I notice that the dtr born 1908 died as a baby too.

Poor Amelia - she had a lot of tragedy in her life and then only lived to 44 herself.

Still cant find anything about Sidney Greenham's death though
