Hello Wraith. In case someone else is looking for Wraith inscriptions, the posting for Wraith at Crook is post number 4. and the posting for Wraith at Wolsingham is post number 62.
It is always helpful to quote the number of the posting especially if the Surname is on a gravestone along with other family relations with a different surname.

Hello again. And here are the two from Wolsingham:-

Also the above Robert Herron, died October/16/1954 aged 8? years.(the lead number for the year has fallen out and it was not possible to even guess the number by looking at the remaining holes left in the stone)

Also the above Jane Herron, born September/14/1841 and died March/18/1918.

Hello Blue roses. Here are the Emerson inscriptions. You will notice of course that they are on the gravestones of other families. I also posted a reply to another Emerson researcher and said I think this is a difficult name to research :-

To the memory of Robert Gibson of High Jofflees, who died March/10/1823 aged 92 years.
Jane Gibson, wife of the above, who died November/11/1809 aged 82 years.
Also John Gibson, their son, died August/25/1822 aged 60 years.
Elizabeth Emerson, their daughter and wife of Ralph Emerson, died October/17/1822 aged 57 years.
And William Gibson their son, died October/11/1841 aged 81 years.
Robert, son of the above Robert and Jane Gibson, died August/7/1846 aged 78 years.

In affectionate remembrance of John Shaw, mason of Tow Law, who died November/20/1866 aged 37 years.
Also Mary Hannah, daughter of the above, who died February/20/1868 aged 2 years.
Also Margaret, sister of the above named John Shaw, died June/5/1876 aged 55 years.
Mary Emerson, sister of the above, who died April/28/1882 aged 64 years.
William Emerson, died March/7/1883 aged 68 years.
Also Ann Shaw, wife of the above John Shaw, who died April/15/1897 aged 60 years.

In memory of Thomas, son of Thomas and Ann Raine, who died 11/April/1770 aged 6 years.
Jane, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Emerson, died 28/July/1789 aged 1 year.Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Moor? and daughter of Thomas and Ann Emerson, who died 3/August/1810 ????????

Adam - This is in response to your suggestion I post my 'Bells of Wolsingham' query in this section.

You can apparently provide inscription information directly from the gravestone - this is very handy for me because my wife Norah and I live in Mandurah Western Australia (80Km south of Perth) so a bit far to travel.

The info I have so far........

Thomas Bell born 1811 in Wolsingham. He married Mary Hodgson born 1820 in Stanhope Durham. They had several children including Jonathan Bell born about 1857. Jonathan Bell married Mary Ann Elliott born in 1851 in Warboys. They in turn had several children one of which was Jonathan Ralph Bell (my Grandfather) born in 1891 in Edmonton Hertfordshire. JR Bell married my grandmother Dorothy Clough, a decendant of the Cloughs of Cleckheaton Yorkshire. It looks like the Bells and the Cloughs moved from their respective parts of northern England around 1870 to Hertfordshire and the rest is history so to speak.

Sincere thanks for any info provided - nn.
