Could anyone help me with any info on Richard Leek who I have an examination paper from 1772 wanting to enter the parish of St Andrews Droitwich.It states he was born in the parish of Laughton Chester? lived with parents for ten years then was apprentice to A Roberts of Newcastle under Lyme for about five years then was apprentice to Abraham Newham? in the parish of Barthomley,then apprentice to Joseph Stubbs in Barthomley.He was in the parish of Barthomley at the time of the examination paper.I have found a possible marriage of Richard to Martha Hulse in warmingham in August 1761.
If someone was kind enough to give me some more info it would be great to start me off on his line in Cheshire!
