Hello Adamand, new to RootsChat having just signed up yesterday 23/11/10.I note your knowledge of MI for Etherley Churchyard and wondered whether you may have come across a headstone for the following: John William NORMAN, interred at Etherley, who died 26th March 1929. Also Florence Annie NORMAN (daughter of the above)who died 6th October 1957; interred at Etherley. We have searched the churchyard to no avail. Have also contacted the church in  the hope they have a burial record, no joy there either. Many thanks in anticipation.

Hello Harperley. There is not a gravestone for the Norman  family that you are looking for.
My first post number 1  contains all the surnames of people that are buried in the graveyard/cemetery
and of course the name Norman is not there.
The only Norman gravestone inscription that I have is at Hunwick and that is for the mid 1800's.

Thanks for your time Adam, we are aware of the Norman at Hunwick, he is one of ours, Rev.Samuel Norman, died 1881. Any ideas about a 'burial plan' for Etherley? We know they are in there, just a question of where?? The Altons at Etherley are also ours.Once again Adam, thankyou.
