Hello Anita. There are nine gravestones for Hodgson. What dates are you looking for.
I think most are for the early 1900's

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your prompt reply, between 1890 -1930s. I have 2 Roberts, an Elizabeth, Ralph and an Isaac that I am searching for. They lived in Toft Hill area and also spent some time in Evenwood so I may need to look elsewhere.

Hello Anita. The only Robert that I have is :-

In memory of Robert Hodgson of Windmill, who died 23/June/1921 aged 71 years.
Also Mary, his beloved wife, who died 9/September/1940 aged 89 tears.

 No Elizabeth, Ralph, or Isaac.

Hello Foz. Here are the Rodham inscriptions :-

In loving memory of dearest parents, John Rodham, died 4/October/1935 aged 59 years.
And Ann Rodham, who died 22/February  aged 83 years.

In affectionate remembrance of William Rodham, who died at St Johns Chapel in Weardale June/3/1827 aged 35 years.
Also Elizabeth, relict of the above, who died at Etherley July/26/1853 aged 62 years.
Also of Elizabeth, the beloved wife of William Rodham, son of the above , who died at Etherley March/7/1875 aged 59 years.
Also the above William Rodham, who died at Etherley October/7/1875 age 58 years.

The seven Howe inscriptions will follow a little later

In loving memory of John Howe, son of  William and Margaret Howe of Windmill, who died April/17/1940 age 69? years (this stone affected by lichen making it difficult to read )

In affectionate remembrance of Jane Ann, beloved wife of John William Howe, born July/8/1854, died September/27/1927.
Also the above John William Howe, born February/11/1858, died December/12/1929.
Organist at Etherley Wesleyan Church for 45 years and Sub Postmaster for 47 years.

In memory of Margaret, daughter of William and Margaret Howe, late of Windmill, died 3/August/1933 aged 69 years.

In memory of Jean Rose, 1900-1937.
Emily Howe, 1878-
Francis Howe, 1869-1948.

In loving memory of Alice Maude Howe, beloved daughter of Walter W and Frances Elliott, died 28/January/1942 aged 25 years.
Also of the above Walter W Elliott, died 25/February/1955 aged 71 years.

In affectionate remembrance of Ann, the beloved wife of Richard Howe of Etherley, who died August/7/1894 aged 71 years.
Also the above Richard Howe, who died December/20/1894 aged 75 years.

In affectionate remembrance of John Walker Howe of Etherley, who died May/6/1870 age 76 years.
Also Ann, his wife, who died December/20/1876 age 84 years.
Also Sarah W Howe, daughter of the above, who died January/13/1887 aged 59 years.
