Hello Maureen. I had a look at the other Firbank gravestones that I have not posted and I can tell you that there are gravestones at Hamsterley (5) Escomb (i) Crook (1) and Stanley Crook (2).

Hello again,

My husband's 2xGt Grandfather was Thomas Firbank who lived in Stobart? Cottages Escombe in 1871. I believe he died in 1879.

Could he be the burial in Escombe.

I thank you for taking the time to do all this work. I live in North Wales and the time I get back in the North East is never enough to do all I need to do.

Hello Maureen. It may not be yours then.
If you want I will post all the Firbanks that are in my data base. That will be for Hamsterley, Crook, Escomb and Stanley Crook (excluding the Etherley inscriptions).
You then keep them on file so you can go through them at your leisure.
At least you will have covered them all in the Dale.
If you want them just post the requests on the correct threads.
