Mavis Taylor - trying to find

Hi
I'm trying to find Mavis Taylor born in Methley, Nr Castleford, West Yorkshire in 1925.
I'm trying to find her parents.
Any help or a push in the right directions.

start by locating the birth reference in the GRO indexes. freebmd will NOT have transcribed it, but original images may be searched.

That'll give a mothers maiden name for starters.

It's sept qtr 1925 , page 254 of the index. i'll let you do it, as you'll need to know how.
