Quilligan's from Limerick
« on: Friday 16 May 08 04:32 BST (UK) »
Hi, :)

Any Quilligan's out there that might be able to help me find info on my 3rd great-grandmother Julia Quilligan please?

She was born around 1820 in Limerick, her father was Patrick Quilligan, mother unknown. Julia came to Australia  in 1836 and married Michael Connor.

I have been searching for years to find any info on her, but keep hitting a brickwall. Surely there are some Quilligan's out there doing the family tree ???

I'd be ever so grateful for any assistances. ;D

Hi my 3rd great grandmother was also Julia Quiligan.  Have you had any luck since posting this?  Do you have any further information on Michael Connor.  I know his parents names.

She came out on the Northumberland in 1836 as a housemaid.

Can't find her yet in Ireland.

Hi wlddlw,
Wish I could tell you I had found heaps on our Julia Quilligan, but alas I can't!  :( She has proven to be very elusive....Darn it!!

Please feel free to drop me a personal email, it would be great to see where we slot into each other's trees :)
