Hi Adam

Thank you for that. Although I have relatives buried at Lanchester, they must not be at that church or they have unmarked graves. I don't know of any connection with the people you have mentioned.

Regards,

Allen.

Hi Adam

Me again.  :)

Can you post the inscriptions for Johnson and Jopling. The Johnson is for my second cousin once removed living in the USA and the Jopling  is for a Jane.

Regards,

Allen.

Hello Allen. Here is the inscription for Jopling. No Jane mentioned but it may be helpful.

In affectionate remembrance of Hannah the beloved wife of John Jopling of Leadgate Farm, who departed this life April/14/1863 aged 28 years.
Also John Robert the beloved son of John and Mary Jopling, who departed this life 28/November/1868 aged 15 months.
Robert Robinson their son, died June/20/1870 aged 8 days?
Also the above John Jopling, die July/29/1887 aged 49 years.

There are five gravestones for Johnson but they are all from after the 1960's

Hi Adam

I will hold onto that information on the Joplings just in case, but no immediate connection.

My cousin would still be interested in the Johnson findings as they may be siblings.

Thanks as always.

Hello Allen. The six gravestone inscriptions that I have are all for one family and all have BURGOYNE as a middle name. Ask your relation  if that name means anything.

Thanks Adam, but unfortunately that does not fit in. I don't suppose you have the M.I.'s for Langley Park?

Allen.

Hello William. I have 14 gravestones for Hall at Lanchester. What date are you looking for because they cover about 200 years.

Hello Adam

Sorry I did not realise that there would be so many!

I think my Halls will have lived in Iveston. I am particularly interested in Jonathan Hall b 1749. His daughter Eleanor b 1777 is also my direct ancestor.   Eleanor had  brothers in Thomas, Joseph, Silas and William the last named being born I think in 1794. So from that date until about 1850 would be great.

Many thanks
