Hi Adam

Thank you very much for the transcriptions for GAIR. My tree doesn't go that far on this particular branch of our GAIR family tree so will need to do some more research to see if they are ours!

Not sure about the GAIR's at St Helen's, Auckland but you never know?! May I have the details please?   :P

Thank you!

Kind regards and God bless you,
Lynne x

Hello Ryan. If you read through the posting for Lanchester you will see that I have already posted inscriptions for Batey/Baty. (I think about three occasions)

Hello Ryan. I am glad you found the Batey inscriptions useful.
These finish the rest of your request:-

Erected in the memory of Dorothy, wife of William Dodds, died 4/March/1824 aged 68 years.
James, their son died abroad August/28/1810 aged 25 years.
Also William, heir son who died in London and buried at Christ Church, April/24/1817 aged 20 years.
Also Mary, their daughter and wife of John Reed, who died January/11/1845 aged 52 years (could be 32   because 3 and the 5 are very similar especially when weathered.

In loving memory of Mary, who died 1924 age 48 years
Also Edward Dodds, who died November/8/1917 age 78 years.
And Elizabeth, his wife  who died November/20/1907 aged 73 years.
Also John Thomas Dodds, who died  February/8/1951 aged 78 years.
This gravestone is one that has been pushed over by the council and has broken in two.

In loving memory of Mary Jane Caygil, daughter of the late Edward Dodds of newbiggen, Lanchester, who died May/29/1930 aged 54 years.
