Hello Adam,

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post these MI's and then do look-ups.

I would appreciate any details you have on Croudace. I am particularly trying to locate a death/burial of John born 1774 and his wife Elizabeth Nee Watkin born 1777.

Thanks,
Colin

Hello Collin. Here are the inscriptions for lanchester:-

Sacred to the memory of Robert Croudace of Langley, who departed this life
the 5th August A.D. 1807 in the 50th year of his aged.
Near this place also lies the remains of George, who departed this life 30/Jan/1791 aged 5 years.
Jane Tiplady 9/May/1794 3 years.
George. ????????

Burial place of James Croudace, he was buried 19th October 1741.
Here lies the body of Elis Croudace who departed this life ???

On both stones the inscription goes to ground level and the face of the stones have flaked away making them unreadable.
