Hello Christine. That message was for another person who was also asking about the Brown surname.

Sorry about the confusion Adam and than you very much for posting the Browns in Lanchester.   I will now try and tie these up with the ancestors that I have in Lanchester.   Strange that someone asked you the same question eh.
Best wishes and thanks again for your help.
Christine

Thanks Adam, but the Browns I am looking for in Lanchester are earlier than those you posted, but I know that a Robert who was christened in Lanchester 1768 is buried in Kirk Merrington.

But thanks again for all work you are doing for us

Hi Adamand
Like most of us this is a bit of a long shot but :)
I have 3 Richard Thompson's in my tree 2 of which have Turnell ,Turnill, possibly Turnbull?( as middle name)
seeing this name on your list I thought it can't hurt to try
Death ranges would be 1795- unknown.
If you find a Richard I can give more details.
Thank you in advance
Maxine

Hello Maxine. There are 9 gravestones  for Thompson but sorry no Richard.
The only stone with the Thompson and Turnbull names on is one from the 1920's with Richardson, Thompson and Turnbull surnames
on the same stone.
