Sarah Hill Gainsborough burial look up -completed
« on: Monday 12 May 08 16:28 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have found on the IGI the baptism of Sarah Hill 16th May 1818, parents William and Mary BUT it also gives her death on the same record 20th March 1821. Gainsborough.

Please could someone tell me which church she was buried at.

Many thanks
Rosie  :D

Thanks Patrish,

It looks from that page that it is probably All Saints. I always forget to look at Genuki.

I was just hoping that sks could check on burial index and possibly find a bit more info - I've just used all my credits on familyhistoryonline and didn't want to get any more just yet.

The Sarah Hill buried 20th March 1821 (Gainsborough All Saints) was a baby with estimated year of birth 1821 (so clearly not the Sarah Hill born 1818)!

Was the IGI record submitted?

Hi short_rach

Thank you very much for the information on Sarah Hill.

The igi was extracted from fiche though it showed the baptism and burial which with that time gap has to be someone's assumption. I have been thinking about getting Gainsborough PR's from the LDS so that will be my next move.

Many thanks  ;D
