Help with the Williams family again................
« on: Monday 12 May 08 09:51 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find James Williams born 1801 Olveston, Gloucestershire on the 1841 census. Cannot find him.

Please would somebody check for me.

He was a farmer, the whole family had lived and died in the Olveston area so he must be there somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

My great grandfather John Williams was born in Ingst c1800. He became a brushmaker and coal merchant in Cheltenham and died in 1870. According to his marriage certificate when he maried my great grandmother Mary Ann Cuthbert his father was James Williams a farmer.
Do you think there could be a connection?

John Williams born in 1800 was married to Marrianna but I have no information on her maiden name. Do you?
