Hello Cathy. Here is another Gill. This time I have included the eulogy( I do not do that often)
Sacred to the memory of William Gill, who departed this life the 30th day of March 1837 aged 71 years.
(He discharged the duties of an instructer of youth in the grammar school of this place with zeal and Fidelity for a period of 35 years, and it may with truth be affirmed that throughout the course of a long and laborious life, he neither made an enemy nor lost a friend.)
Also to the memory of Alice, wife of William Gill, who died the 25th day of April 1846 aged 77 years.
