Hi Adam,
I wonder if I could trouble you for the MI's related to the surname Thornton. I am particularly interested in Johns and Williams if there are too many to put up on screen.
Thanks for all the hard work you are doing, it is a godsend to so many of us who can't get to County Durham very easily.
Regards,
Kate.
Thornton, Pigford, Toaduff: County Durham.
Anderson, Parkin, Farnsworth, Broomhead: Lincs and Notts.
Kane: Liverpool / Ireland.

Hello Kate. There is not a John or a William Thornton at Witton le Wear
There is Elizabeth Ann and Robert at Witton le Wear
Sam and Jane at Hunwick.
Rebecca and George William at Willington.
The above are all from the 1920'--1940's
And a Mary, who was a servant at Brancepeth Castle in the early 1800's

Hi Adam,
Thanks for taking the time to look for those burials for me, sadly not christian names that tie into my family, but I appreciate it all the same,
