John James Matthews, I have hunted for info on this family member but cant find anything on him. All I know is that he came over on a ship and stayed illegally, he married Rita Jury in 1934 . He was born abt 1898. and died in 1955 in taranki buried at  Te Henui cemetery.


Also hunting for info on JOHN BUCKLEY b. 1846 and wife SARAH ??? b.1851  wanting to find there parents .

Yes add your surnames, so they appear under your name as well, then you quite often get spotters and contacts that way

Re John and Sarah Buckley
were they 1893 Electroal roll at Inglewood, Egmont electorate.
Just may help tracking them if we know any areas you think they were in

If that is tthere are entries for them in the Taranaki herald
