info I have from SP,Jane Sives nee Foggo died 1920 aged 62 in Dunbar,makes her birth abt1858. Janes death record should tell you if she was married or widowed at the time of her death. On SP there is a William Sives died 1924 aged 72 North Berwick,makes his birth abt1852,you would need to view the death record to see if this was Janes husband. There is only 1 William Sives on 1861 freecen, aged 8 living at
"Gilchriston" Salton,E Lothian with his parents

Hi neil, you mentioned that you are 1 of 4 brothers, would one of them be Derek by any chance?as my dad has 3 brothers and one of them is called neil . I've just joined and was looking to find out about the family history, and discovered this site
