WW1 trying to find MORGAN
« on: Sunday 04 May 08 13:43 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Looking for a needle in a haystack here so desperate for any help. My grandfather was born Henry Parry Morgan in Cardiff in 1880, but on my mother's birth certificate he is Harry P Morgan. I have copies of medal cards for;

Henry P Morgan. RE 30388 Rank Cpl  Dis.13/7/17

but also for

Harry P Morgan, S.Wales Borderers 22625 Rank private

How can I find out more to ascertain which one is my grandfather? Can one find any details of their families, or if the P stands for Parry?

Thanks
