Hi Alan

Archie and his family are noted in the Croft Histories. Unfortunately not much information re previous generations. Give me a couple of days and I will post all the available info. Most ties in with what you already know, but there may be some extra.

Archie's wife was Kirsty MacDonald. It appears she died about 1845 a couple of years after the birth of her last child, also named Kirsty.

Will try to get back on with the info tomorrow night - busy day ahead tomorrow.
