« on: Sunday 16 January 05 20:38 GMT (UK) »
Enoch HOLLEYHEAD m. Ann MAXFIELD April 15 1827 Wrockwardine (IGI)

GRO index has their deaths in Shifnal prior to 1871.

The census record for this family would be very useful to me.

Roy

Thank you so much for your follow-up.

Through another Rootschat member I discovered that my ancestor was not Enoch but his brother James - I live in the USA and without the help of kind people as yourself my family tree quest would be impossible.

Many thanks

I too have an Enoch Holleyhead in my tree.  He was born 1877 in Wombridge.   He was the son of James Holleyhead(1822).  His mother was Laura Holleyhead (1840) nee Cherrington, formerly Farrow.  James Holleyhead died between 1881 and 1891.  Laura and her children including Enoch moved to Bolton, Lancs.  Laura died  in 1895.  Her young daughters went to Kippax, Leeds where their stepbrother Samuel Holleyhead was now living.  I have not found  Enoch after 1891.
Hope this is useful to all researching their Holleyhead, Hollyhead, Holyhead connections
