Double  Wow back.  That is truely amazing.  Now that means your great Great uncle lived at Dudley House and he was obviously a subscriber to this book which is a book called "The complete concordance or the Poems and Songs of Robert burns" and is pretty academic work .  There is a list of about 100 names in the back and libraries etc that obviously subscribed to the work.  Your great great uncle has a sticker in the inside cover that has a coat of arms presumably the Ellis logo I need to look that up with the inscription Forte et Fidele and he has signed it and it was given as a present to a name which is really hard to decipher but my best guess is Catherine Orr or Obb.  So he was quite young when he sent this and I must have been a man of means?  I live in Shropshire where the book obvioulsly has been.  How interesting.  I love stuff like this

Suzanne and Johnathan are you still reading messages on the board? If so then Suzanne you sent me information on the Leonard family a while ago which I couldn't follow up on as I lost your e-mail address but obviously and thankfully you are on here so I hope we can catch up and you may fill in some missing blanks.
My Father is NEIL CLIVE KENNETH LEONARD, my Grandfather was CHARLES CLIVE LEONARD who was the son of (my Great Grandfather) CHARLES EDWARD LEONARD who married ELIZABETH RICHARDS who in turn was the son of WILLIAM LEONARD and JANE IRWIN. William was the son of JAMES LEONARD and SARAH SCRIVEN.
Not sure how many generations I have covered with just that (Suzanne sent me the family tree she had made) but rest assured the Leonard family is still here in Australia.
I just wish I had come across this earlier as I have just come back from England and I was staying in London!
Hope that you come across this as I'd like to catch up and hopefully provide you with recent history.
Have a good time,
Stuart

Hi - good to hear from you - yes I am still here - and not too far from London either. At the same time as I got this notification I received a forwarded message from an Aussie group as well so I'll email you on that email address - Suzanne
