Hi Paul

Thanks to a great start from a Carrington cousin, who is also the new editor of Hel Achau, I have nearly all the Carringtons mapped out from the 1840's on.  (Cue an enormous sigh of relief from rootschatters!)

We may never be able to prove conclusively where John Carrington and Anne Blunt came from when they married in 1743 but now that the tenth generation is coming "on line"  their descendant count is well over 400 - and that's just the ones I've been able to trace through the censuses and various cousins.  Many of the girls married Joneses, Roberts & Williams etc and their descendants are very difficult to follow - as we all know ;D

Not sure if you have these. Wrexham baptisms. Children of John & Barbara Carrington. Minera. Miner.
Nov 8 1823. Barbara.
Aug 16 1825. Francis.
July 31 1831. Ann.

Paul.

Hi Paul

I've been reviewing all these dates and wonder if I could impose on you to doublecheck the year of baptism for Francis - my 2xG grandfather.  I have him down as 1828 not 1825??  Censuses and death certificate all match with 1828 - typo??

There should also be a
Frances (Alice) d/o John & Barbara July 21, 1821 and  a
Thomas s/o John & Barbara April 1, 1826
floating around there somewhere as well  ::)

They really are the most exasperating family.  A lot easier to find than Jones but frustrating to put in place and stay there ;D ;D ;D

Thanks
Heather

There is Alice July 21 1821. and Thomas April 1 1826 ::).

Yes , there is Jane 1828 Thomas 1821 Abraham 1834, but no Aaron.
There is an `daughter` unnamed 13 Aug 1837.

I am so glad I kept these photos seeing as the Red zone has gone. :(
