Robert McGavin jnr's parents have a gravestone in Irvine Old Parish kirkyard. Robert Magavin, Grocer/Merchant died 3 Sep 1853 aged 75, and Mary Reid his wife died 26 Dec 1851. It was erected by their son Rev James McGavin D.D. minister of Dundee. e- mail:- (*)
