Bootle pub murder
« on: Monday 21 April 08 14:46 BST (UK) »
Dear All

Wonder if anyone can help me with information on a murder that took place Nov 1935 in a pub in Bootle.

Victim was Paul Irwin aged 21/22 by all accounts he was defending a female person unknown.

Would love to find out if the culprit was caught and tried.

Thanks

Hi MUB

How about looking through the newspapers around the date of the murder. That should give you an approximate trial date. There should also be a report about the inquest even if it is adjourned until a later date.
