Hi Frances
Thanks very much for the info. I shouldnt think there is any doubt that this is the same lady, also that it is her brother. Ann Hall Fox married and went on to have a daughter that was named Jessie Austin Fox Tarlton born 1862, my Mum was named Jessie Austin Tarlton after her Aunt, her Dad being the sister  of Jessie Austin Fox. Hope that makes sense!! What     really interested me is the fact that i have traced  back 4 generations all living in the East End of London and then up pops a lady born in  beautiful Mousehole in Cornwall (what a shock she must have got) I know it   can never be answered but it makes you wonder why they moved, her husband was born in London so maybe he had something to do with it!! As i said before, Ann Hall Fox was the daughter of Frances Fox  shown as mariner, i know this may sound rather stupid but would a fisherman call himself a mariner? Cant imagine large boats sailing out of Mousehole and am wondering   if to try loooking on naval vessels to see if i can find Frances from either Plymouth or Falmouth.
Once more very many thanks
maureen

Take a look at this link.
[Ctrl + F] to search for term "Migration" (c.1830's) I haven't looked into it but it might help to explain travel of people out of Cornwall within the UK and abroad.

hope it starts you on the road so to speak.
