Hi Shirley,
I have been trying to catch up with you for years (I didn't feel comfortable asking Ian). You told me so much about my father, and I am so grateful but I lost contact. My name was Greg but after I heard so many stories about my father that I didn't know before I changed my name to his. I don't know who watches this forum so I don't want to give too much away, but I hope you can remember when we met all those years ago in the Dandenongs you were going to show me some super 8 (?) film of him but the projector wasn't working at the time - so you showed me you and your husband's amazing rock collection.

Anyway, I would love to catch up - remake contact...

T:)

Hi Theo,

I'm Rob, Shirleys son. Mums not to sure how to use this forum so I am writing on her behalf. If you wouldn't mind contacting her direct by email  * that would be great.

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,
sorry about the confusing message. I got your PM. And, I emailed Shirley, but I haven't got a reply from Shirley yet.

Anyway, here is a pic of my dad's plaque at the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Melbourne.

Cheers, Theodor:)

Hi Rob, Shirley & Theo,

I am not a direct descendant of John Twyerould however I have Twyerould cousins.

They are via James Charles Twyerould who married Florence Clarke, and Thomas Clayton Twyerould who married Catherine Agnes Clarke

Florence and Catherine were sisters of my grandmother Edith May Clarke who married Joseph Marchment.

James and Thomas were brothers of your ancestor William John Twyerould  - I note that 3 of his children were born at St.Arnaud which is near where I live.

Regards Dale
Watts Westcott Irwin Gammon - Devon
Marchment Gale - Wiltshire
MacLeod MacSwain- Raasay, Scotland
Gazzard Partridge - Essex
Grimmett Harris - Oxfordshire
Brien - London
Poyser - Staffordshire
Johns Morris - Glamorgan, Wales

Hi Shirley,

I think I have found Esther Hough's parents - Samuel Hough and Ann Woolstencroft and would like to speak to you.
