Elizabeth Dunn - Cardiff 1909
« on: Monday 14 April 08 12:22 BST (UK) »
I am trying to locate details of an Elizabeth Dunn, who was born in Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire in 1850 - her parents were Thomas and Eliza Dimmer.  All I know is from Thomas's will that in 1909 she was living at Alma Cottage, Whitchurch, Cardiff in the County of Carnarvon with her husband Thomas Dunn.

I just can't seem to find any details of her after 1861 census reports, but as she is named in her fathers will, she was clearly still around.

Kind regards

Just one point without wishing to be pedantic!  Cardiff is not in the county of Caernarfon. Cardiff is in South Wales whereas Caernarfon county is in North Wales

Thank you, that is interesting, especially as it states in 1891 that he was paralized.

I wonder how that happened - would it be an accident on the farm perhaps?

Many thanks for all this information.
