I found on Ancestry Parish and Probate records that 4 of my ancestors had wills proven in the Consistory Court of the Bishop of Gloucester, 1660-1800.
Details taken from the calender of Gloucester Mills. They are all listed under burialls 1604 and then the following individual details.
1786 Hester Robins, Uley 105, 1756 Thomas Robins, Uley 95, 1716 Josiah Robins, Uley, 15, and 1792 William Robins Uley 171.
There is also mention Abstracts of the Inquisitones post mortem of Elizabeth Osbourne, Uley 1642, where a Richard Robins gave evidence.
Now I know these wills exist, how do I go about viewing/getting copies of them?
Hope somebody can help
Regards Chrissi
