Windy Miller was from Camberwick Green
The Woodentops were a farming family with strings....
(so I'm told, waaaayyyy before my time!!!)
I'm glad someone likes the "cut of my jib"
...someone on another thread doesn't realise I put fun and facts together...SOHF!!! They got all stroppy when I pointed out a book they relied upon was tosh!
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.

Polldoll,
Thank you for reposting the restored pics again.. the look 'in place' here. Further, a public thank you for your kind and generous spirit.
Scrimmet, well spotted. Karon asked about that but I couldn't see it at all
You have good eyes.. look after them
Thank you all
Robert

Actually I'm used to inspecting troops!
ergo I have an eye for detail...
I normally have a Sgt Major to take down notes for me though!

I thought I'd have a break from the bombeR..... and I did ! I must be the slowest person on here for colouring and restoring ... Must be me age ... lol ...
Ol scrimmers is handy with his expertise on uniforms ... we need someone like that to pop in and keep us right on things military ... ....and I reckon he'd put us on Jankers if we got it wrong !!!
(or should that be IN jankers ....?
