Hi Poll,
they are in excellent nick aren't they!  my grandmother looked after them well.  I haven't touched them at all other than scan them and post.  I dragged them out of my aunts haul along with the old photo of my little ballerina last year.
I haven't posted these before  because there is only a little to do but thought they would be nice to show others on this thread as its along the same kind of theme... that is while we are all waiting in anticipation of these wonderful restores and colouring  ;D  sooner you than me   :P ;)
I should really ask my OH what kind of planes they are, he's bound to know
Jenny

Top Lancaster, bottom Hurricane....

Airfix strikes again.... ;D
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.

My OH had already told me that while I was waiting... I didn't even realise it was the same type of plane and the original one on the thread.

It gets worse.....

The Lancaster in the photo is owned by the now defunct British South American Airways and was used as a freighter.  It's registration was G-AGUL.  The 'G' is obscured by the door and you can just see the 'A'.

I'll get me coat................  :-\
