Me too    The picture I have was the Royal Berkshire Regiment in Malta, where they were deployed before being sent to Africa in the Suez crisis. 

Until it was published in the Daily Paper I had no idea where OH had been sent.  In the end they were all sent to Cyprus instead!  Very dangerous it was too.

Poll I think you are absoluetly marvellous. 

I have just come across this thread tonight, and strangely enough came across our own photo yesterday when I was decluttering my wardrobe.  I have just gone beetling upstairs to find it and had forgotten that it had the names of the men on it. So in case anyone might have had rellies in No 7 Pathfinder Force based at Oakington in Cambridgeshire in April 1945 I am posting it below. If you find a rellies name then I am afraid that you will have to count to get to him   

I am afraid that I do not have the skill to put the 2 halves together like Wooley so if anyone is able to amalgamate them I would love to have a copy of the "whole" as it were.  I have taken the time to check that I havent cut anyones name off but there are a few "duplicated" men as it were

Hi Jackie, and congratulations on posting your first photo

You will get better results if you post these in a new thread, though, as many people don't revisit old threads due to time or bandwidth restrictions. You will have to rename the pics because RC won't let you post the same photo more than once, but just adding a letter or number to the file name will do.

Great pic! Please do repost to share it with everybody.

How smashing to have all the names there as well...that's a real lucky stroke....but imagime trying to put the names to the people, you would get about a dozen in from the side and....now was it that one or that one, and what row was I on and.......who am I?

I recognise several names in there from my Dad's Service days.  I wonder if they are the same people.
