Thanks Mudge ... AW have you missed me ??    ;D ;D ;D   I  think I  must have been quite mad to do this .. The large version is a ginormous 19 mbs ... for a print 12 inches by 4 ! As for Scrimnet ...  I dont have any problem with what he posted  but thanks for being gallant  ;)... ...it's all information we all learn from ... and in the end I did want it to look as real  I want to as possible .. Trouble is my colour co ordination tends to revolve round clothes and Interior design ...old planes colours  are pretty low on my list of things I 'm  famililiar with !!  I have a feeling though that I could get addicted to  old soldiers !! ;) ;D ;D

Hi Paulene !! I think that's the longest time I have spent on a photo ... I must have taken 150 hours to do it ... but  then I am very patient when it comes to this sort of work and I have thetime being a retired ol' grannie ...  ;D ;D D ...  Nice to know I have been missed ...  ;)

Scan at 300 plus for restores please. Scan at larger dpi for small photos. Don't forget to crop the scanner bed out! (Them's the white bits)
