1841 Lookup please for William Fraser

Hello

I have had no luck in my searches at Ancestry.co.uk and therefore would be grateful if others with more experience could try searching for my gt-gt grandfather John Fraser and his Parents and siblings in the 1841 census.  John Fraser was born in 1834 Saucher, Collace Perthshire. I know from his marriage certificate (1855 Kirkton of Lethendy, where residence given as Tullyneddie, Clunie and occupation Shoemaker), that his parents were William Fraser (Linen Weaver) and Amelia Fraser (nee Henderson). From IGI possible brothers are William (1832), Agnes (1834), Amelia (1838).

I think I have found his Father, Mother and sister Amelia in the 1851 (where Mother and Sisters names are mis-spelt). William Fraser (Hand Loom Linen Weaver) b.abt 1783 Redgorton Perthshire, Emilda Fraser (Wife) b.abt 1811 Kinnaird, Perthshire, Emilla Fraser (Dau), b.abt 1839 Collace Perthshire. Address is village of Saucher. (Collace ED 3, Line 13)

I have tried variations of the surname with no luck. I am guessing it might be a mistranscription of the surname in the census that is not bringing up any appropriate matches for John, his parents or siblings (either that or I am doing something wrong!)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there...

Did you ever get anywhere with this one, as I was researching a John Fraser from Perth, born around the same time, some time ago, and this chap kept popping up!  I would have to rake my records but I feel certain i have had that info at some point!

Thanks for asking, I did in the end on Scotlands People by searching for his son John Fraser (reference Census 1841/340 00 003/00 003). They were living at Saucher Village:

William Fraser 55: Occupation is not clear but I think is H L W Linen (which I am assuming is Hand Loom Weaver Linen). The entry for his surname is unclear which doesn't help i.e. looks like Fra?or (? = overwritten entry which inless you knew it was a "s" could be anything)
