Hi
Does any one have access to this book?
The good grave guide to Hampstead Cemetery, Fortune Green, London - published by the Camden History Society in 2000
I've tried their website, but it's not working.
If anyone has access to this or any Hampstead Cemetery monumental inscriptions, I'm trying to find the inscription for
James Wilson 1831 - 1906 - he was Chief Engineer to the Egyptian Government and he died in Hampstead in 1906 and was buried in the cemetery - according to an article on Hampstead Cemetery I found on wikipedia, it says
..., the tomb of James Wilson ('Wilson Pasha'), Chief Engineer to the Egyptian Government (1875-1901), executed in red marble and also found in the eastern section, has a striking Egyptian look to it.
I'll be in London for the WDYTYA show in May, but will only have a spare hour or so to visit the cemetery, how easy is it to find graves there?
Thanks
