Welcome to Rootschat. 

Rootschat is a wonderful site, but it does take a little time to become familiar with it's layout and facilities, as well as its rules.

Re the Sabine family, my interest is that Hilda May Deimel who married Harry Sabine was a daughter of Julius Deimel, who in turn was the brother of my gg-grandmother Maria Anna Catherina Auguste Deimel.

I, too, am aware of four daughters born to this couple. I have the marriages of two of them, and their deaths.

Re Harry, he was one of a number of children of Clement Sabine ... I have info if you are interested.

Would love the information re Harrys daughters, couldn't find much reference to them in WA libary. are you in Australia?

I'm in South Australia. 

I think you should now be able to send personal messages.

To do that, all you have to do is click on the little green scroll under a person's username and avatar.....and a message box will open.

Hi Deeiluka,I`ve just come across your enquiree a while back for Hilda May Deimel and Harry Sabine.I believe they were my gg grandparents.I think  their daughter Jean Isobel Sabine was my grandmother.My father was born to a Jean  Sabine of maylands and a Herbert Marshall Holmes, but was adopted out at the age of 3 months.I`m just starting a search, and wondered if you could help me out with any info.Thanks

Hi , looking for the same Harry, found him on WA marriage register, 1907 ref 38 . only other info he had 4 daughters. anyone with more?

I'm at present away from home, and don't have all my information on my laptop. I'm not sure if I can help you with any information that will prove that the Jean SABINE named on your father's birth certificate is Jean Isobel SABINE but it seems most likely.

I can certainly help you with lots of information about the DEIMEL family.

Once you have posted two more messages on this thread, we'll be able to send eah other private personal messages via the Personal Message system provided by Rootschat. Then we can exchange email addresss, which is not allowed on the threads for privacy reasons.
