As a twin. One of four sets born of my parents.
I have many Copies of birth certs.
And every one is an independent issue for an individual.

This is illustrated by entries on BMD with consecutive
numbering of register entries. This could be a way of making
your checks.

Sometimes one twin will appear on one page and the other twin on the next page.

Hi

Just as a footnote, parish records also often contain "twin son of" or "twin daughter of" in the entries, useful for working out the difference between two children baptised on the same day with different birth dates, & two children baptised on the same day who were twins.
