thanks.  i wish i was there to look up all this stuff in the books.  it would make it much easier!  i'm trying to get at least basic info.  i've mostly been using the mormon geneology site.  it has an extensive collection of info!  i was able to trace a branch on my father's side back to 1020 in england!  i thought that was pretty cool!

On that website since it has a lot of member submission entries from Mormon church members you often can trace your line back that far and sometimes even as far as Adam and Eve! All member submission records should be treated with care and the information checked with actual records.
