Ahh, yes I did miss the marriage Valda...extra brownie points

Now, brownie points for me

FreeBMD - death Kenneth Alexander De Kovens Q2 1865, Kensington (1a 82)
Theoretically we should be able to find Kenneth & Martha De Koven (s) on the 1841, 1851 & 1861 censuses..... no luck I'm afraid

Even went north of the border to Scotland as I thought Kenneth sounded a bit Scottish

However, although not relevant at the moment, this might be worth putting on the back burner;
The IGI gave the baptism (extracted) of a Martha Carolina WEST born 4/12/1800, baptised 14/1/1801, Stoke Kewington (I'll take that as Newington) d/o John & Elizabeth
Gaynor, I did spot a couple of people on Ancestry researching James Longman Gawler, so if you don't have a sub I'd be willing to contact them & get you together
