Sybil, what can I say. I can't find the words to tell you how sad I feel. I have lost a true friend in Alan. He was always so concerned about me, even through his illness. There is a great void in the world today.

When I think of Alan, the first word that springs to mind is 'Gentleman'. I have never met a man with so tender thoughts, and not afraid to say them out loud. He was very very special. You were the lucky lady he chose to spend the rest of his life with. Which means you are very special too.

Think of the good times, and hold them close.

Please know, you, Alan and your family are in my thoughts,

God Bless You,

I am so sorry.... I only "met" Alan a  few times in the chat room.....the thing that came across was "what a nice guy!"
I hope Sybil and family will draw comfort from the fact that so many people world wide have them in their thoughts.
God bless you all

Dear Sybil (Proph)

I was so sorry to hear about your lovely husband.  May he rest in peace and may you remember the love and laughter you shared with him.

I think of Alan this way.....because it reminds me of the many roses I received via RC.....

A rose once grew where all could see
Sheltered beside a garden wall
And as the days passed swiftly by
it spread its branches, straight and tall.

One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide -

The rose bent gently toward its warth
Then passed beyond to the other side.

I weep, and smile at the memories.
Much love
Valerie
