Bereavement : alangeo1
« on: Friday 28 March 08 00:44 GMT (UK) »
Dear friends

I am so sad to tell you that our very dear friend Alan has passed away peacefully tonight at 10.40pm (UK)

I know you will all join me in sending sincere condolences to Sybil. What can I say. Sybil has been a stallwart thru Alan's illness . Loving him , caring for him. keeping us all laffing even tho she herself hasn't been in best of health herself.

We have lost a great friend tonight and we will all remember Alan with fondness, love, happiness cos that's what he was about and above all fun! I count myself to be a very lucky lady cos he was my good friend.

He's not here with us now but he better do what he promised and find me and Sybil's Irish rellies!

This is a sad day for all of us .

When I know the funeral arrangements will post more info but for now can you direct any requests for info to me via PM and not Sybil if that's OK.

Best wishes

Ann

We've all lost a very dear friend and my heart goes out to Sybil and their families.

I feel I've lost a good friend and we'd never actually met ... that's the beauty of Rootschat and the people here.

Be well, Sybil, take care, and know you are in our hearts.  We're here for you.  I'm so very sorry for your loss, but knowing he is at peace is some comfort.

Much love,

badger

I never had the pleasure of meeting Alan in the chat room.  However, I've heard so much about him and seen the photos of his wedding with Sybil that I felt that I did know him.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Sybil and family.

Sibil, take heart in knowing that you had a special time in Alan's life and you made this time very special for him too.
He is no longer in pain but I feel for you and the family because of the pain you are feeling now.
Try and remember the special moments and not the sad ones.

We all in rootschat are here for you.

Sybil, sending you lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

i am off to a ceroc dance champs in a min ( 6 hour trip) and when the guys pic me up they are going to wonder why i have been crying...

Its funny how close you can feel to some people without even meeting them, Alan was on of those special people in my life..

Very sad
