I've lost a special dear friend today.  My heart and thoughts are with you, sybil, in your loss.  There are no words to express how sad I am.  Goodbye Alan from your 'smilie friend'.

Love,

Too true about the RC room it is like our own extended family,any ones loss is our loss.

Dear Prop,
people from all corners of the world will feel your loss and wish to pass on their condolence to you. I know these are only words but sent with the warmest feelings

LET ME GO
when i come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me,
i want no rites in a gloom filled room;
why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little-but not for long,
and not with your head bowed low.
remember the love that we once shared;
Miss me-but let me go.
for this is a journey we all must take,
as each must go alone.
it's part of the Master's plan-
a step on the road to home.
when we are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends you know;
and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
MISS ME- BUT LET ME GO.

I also have lost a dear friend tonight.  I will never forget how Alan and Prop made me feel so welcome in rootschat.  Alan always had something kind to say.  Prop, sis,,you are in my heart and in my prayers.  Please take care of yourself now, and know that we all love you.

I have tears in my eyes too.

My workmates are going to ask why in a minute - why, because a good kind generous man is finally at peace, leaving those who loved him to mourn him and miss him.

My heart goes out to you Sybil, I hope that the support of everyone here and especially Ann B, is of comfort to you in the coming days.

RIP Alan. You were loved!
