I think this "new ruling" is reasonable   ....  providing newcomers to the site, are advised of it when they come "onboard".       (And obviously there are a few quick ways around this hurdle.    ).

Christine's message did get through and I've sent her another reply - hope you got it Christine...

It does sound like the same Bernadette as I know in later life she was remarried to Jack Hearne - my mother-in-law tells me she was known as Babe..

The plot thickens!!

P.S. The only photos we have are of fairly poor quality and were taken in the 1970's...

P.S.S. Bronwen very kindly went to the Museum in Marlborough in April and located a photo of the family in the Redwood file - unfortunately the file wasn't transfered successfully by the museum staff, to her CD and so I don't have a copy at this stage - might have to plan a trip to NZ!!  What a treasure that photo would be!!

Me again Christine,

Bernadette Redwood married Nathaniel Green in 1908 (Francis Redwood married them).  They had five children (three of whom survived) and were divorced in 1923.
